Survivors are often met with questions that do more harm than good. Why didn’t you say something sooner? What were you wearing? Are you sure it happened like that? This piece emerged from a desire to confront that cycle of blame—and shift the conversation. Strategically, we leaned into a direct-to-camera format to create a sense of intimacy and accountability. Diverse in voice and experience, the cast represents a range of survivor perspectives. The final moment—a young girl in silence—anchors the piece in innocence, reminding us what’s at stake when we fail to simply show up for someone who’s been harmed.
